In his 16 years as a senior law firm marketing consultant at the legal marketing division of Thomson Reuters (FindLaw | Super Lawyers), Joel witnessed firsthand the direct correlation between effective marketing and law firm revenue growth. In 2020, he founded Law Marketing Advisors to give attorneys access to honest, strategic advice and implementation—helping them grow without being locked into a single vendor.
Outside the office, Joel is a husband and father of two who enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, and off-road adventure motorcycling. His family adores their golden retrievers and loves traveling in search of the best pizza and classic mom-and-pop restaurants.

Kathryn Roth is the Chief Operating Officer at Law Marketing Advisors, where she transforms strategic visions into seamless execution for law firms across the country. Prior to this role, she built a successful career in corporate wealth management, departing from her previous company as a top national performer recognized for exceptional client service and results. She oversees client onboarding, orchestrates multifaceted projects from inception to completion, synchronizes cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with external collaborators to deliver results on time and without friction. As the firm scales, Kathryn plays a key role in defining new positions, coordinating talent acquisition, and implementing efficient onboarding processes to foster long-term growth. Renowned for her dedication to her clients, operational precision, and unwavering attention to detail, she excels at navigating intricate challenges while keeping everything on track.
On a personal note, Kathryn grew up on a small farm in Illinois before spending ten years in Chicago. She now calls Colorado home, where she enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband and two bonus children. Her days are made brighter by her golden retriever, and she’s always happiest when there’s a dog nearby.

Payton Miller is a lead generation and performance marketing expert with deep experience scaling growth across digital and traditional channels. He has managed multi-million-dollar media budgets, generated thousands of monthly leads in higher education, and led marketing strategy for a national personal injury law firm operating across more than 15 states. His work spans PPC, LSAs, CTV, radio, social, SEO, and affiliate channels, with a strong focus on cost per lead, attribution accuracy, and revenue growth. Payton pairs hands-on execution with practical strategy and team leadership, turning complex data into clear metrics that support better decisions and steady performance. He works closely with founders, vendors, and internal teams to build repeatable systems and stay focused on metrics that actually matter.
Outside of work, Payton lives in Scottsdale, stays active with pickleball, golf, and snowboarding, travels with his dog Abel, and never turns down great Mexican, Mediterranean, or a solid ribeye.
